"Selamat Aidil-fitri,
Kepada saudara serta saudari,
Setahun hanya sekali,
Merayakan hari yang mulia ini..."
Come on... Everyone know that Aidilfitri is just around the corner. Soon, thousands of city dwellers would join the "Balik Kampung" rush to celebrate this occasion in their respective hometowns.
Mid Valley Mega-mall have once again gone out of their way to welcome shoppers for the Hari Raya celebrations with the theme "The Rah Rah is Back in Hari Raya".
With the kampung scenes of the 50s around the large mall, shoppers can't seem to not be attracted to the scenic view, regardless of their age and race.
Get the Kid! while she's still a FREE Festive Gift and Raya Packet. xD
The houses and stalls are all drawn in caricature-style which make the whole environment look like a scene from comics, truly creative.
The journey begins at the South Court concourse level, where the train station lies sandwiched between an old newspaper stand and coffee shop. There is also a vintage car parked at the train station.
Coco. Nut? But I don't see any 0_0

As we journey to the Center Court,we see many shoppers gathered here to take pictures of the kampung houses which placed to resemble a courtyard.
Not to mention the chickens and ducks (not the human one), coconut trees and wooden fences make the place almost come alive.
Finally, a bazaar at the North Court concourse area is where one can find Raya goodies, hehe. The North Court hosts stalls sells clothes, cookies, home decor and ICE-CREAM! counters. (Who don't like ice-cream, right xD)
Welcome Welcome! Welcome to my house. xD
I believe the kid is lost... 0_0

"Everything is created from moment to moment, always new. Like fireworks, this universe is a celebration and you are the spectator contemplating the eternal Fourth of July of your absolute splendor. - Francis Lucille"
*This is a picture I took randomly in the train.

The Bachelor of Science Student of SEGI University College (ADP) had the chance to take part in one of the attention-grabbing fieldwork - an expedition to the Crab Island. The purpose? To have a closer view of the tradition, culture and the lifestyle in Crab Island.
Public transportation is the least of your worries in Crab Island. While the KTM Komuter will give you a perfect view of Klang Valley from KL Sentral to Pelabuhan Klang, and also the Ketam's High Speed Ferry that took only half an hour ride away from the hustle and bustle Port Klang.
When you arrive in Pulau Ketam Village, the first thing you gonna see is "The Only Public Toilet". And yeah, you guessed it right, it flushes directly into the sea! Eww... No wonder no one is swimming... LOL!
Let's move on to something that is not so polluted, lol. Bomba Sukarelawan Pulau Ketam and the Police Station are basically the local attractions as there aren't many landmarks in Pulau Ketam.
Bomba Sukarelawan Pulau Ketam was formed in 1972, located not far from the police station. It was a need by residents of Pulau Ketam because a few fire incidents happened back in the 60s and 70s. If you look closer to the picture, you will notice that Francis is going to headbutt Eddie!
An elderly couple sells fried ice cream right in front of a clinic. Being the only fried ice cream stall in Pulau Ketam they get to monopoly the business, hehe.
As you might have guessed, most people in Pulau Ketam work as fishermen and sell seafood products. Almost each house has boat parked in front.
Pulau Ketam is indeed a seafood gourmet's paradise! Don't forget to go for its fresh crabs, prawns and fish (especially the fish balls, 2 thumbs up). If you got the chance to visit Crab Island, it's a must to stop by Kim Hoe Restaurant to try out their famous dishes.
Fried Butter Shrimp
Deep Fried Squid
Salted Egg Crab
Kum Hiung Crab (Spicy curry leaf)
OMG! is simply just the word to describe the fish balls. The fish balls is so lively that you'll actually feel that it's dancing in your mouth each time you chew it. FUYOH! (We can tell that Eddie is really enjoying his lunch)

Members of the Hex's group were in for a fun night out on 10Sept at Jeth as one of our friend, Sylvester - a smiley Methodist A.C.S Pussycat, decided to fly himself to U.K. on 18Sept.
THE STARS OF TODAY'S SHOW... featuring:
The Smiley A.C.S Pussycat - Sylvester (left)
Taking place from 8.30pm to 11pm, the dudes were taking pleasure in an hourly chit-chating, sharing their after high school life.
Yang Choo was basically toying with his DSLR while Hex was messing around with William's Cellphone. *notice the wicked smile??
Oh yea, how can I forget about Kenneth the girl slayer. Ken, a hot and cool muscular guy who just love nothing but his guitar and hot girl. So, watch out girls!
William, a shy yet friendly guy who stay nearby my area, but couldn't get to meet him for quite a while... (For William is currently studying at Nilai)
Well, it was basically the first time meeting up Sylvester for a drinks and it's worth spending time with him.
Sylvester really seems like a little guy in the middle of Andrew and Yang Choo, don't you guys think so?
Group Picture credits to one of the waiters ... =)

Still NOT INTERESTED/ CONVINCING enough ?
Okay, I give you 9Good Reason why you should.09 Reasons to take part in the 09.09.09 Project:
1) It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
2) It is like a super magical special Wednesday.
3) All the cool kids are doing it.
4) It will make you feel good about yourself.
5) If you don't participate, the terrorists have won.
6) You have nothing better to do that day.
7) It's better than a kick to the face with a boots.
8) Obama would have wanted you to do it.
9) Cause our name will be in the Book of Records.
There you have it. Now you have no excuse. So start going around and start wishing people a love and peace 09.09.09. You won't want to miss the day, it's going to be AWESOME!
Now let me tell you more about this GO Project 9!

It was Malaysia's LARGEST PARTICIPATION in a patriotic singing network - where 99 companies and organizations from each of the nine different sectors are singing the self-penned This Is My Country.
And guess what, it was a Brilliant Success! And the event will be listed in the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest participation in a patriotic singing network.
'We are asking only five minute of everyone's time. These are the few minutes that can forever change a nation and help shed its culture of indifference, lethargy and despondency' said go for 9! Project Leader Joys Tan.

SEGI is not letting this golden opportunity to slip away just like that. What we did was we gather Fayette House members plus some students to sing the song "This Is My Country". This song lyric has all racial language: Chinese, Malay and Tamil. To tell you the truth, its actually quite nice.

'Imagine all the People,
Living life in peace.
You may say I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us,
And the world will be as one - John Lennon"
This is indeed a one-of-a-kind day, besides all the singing event happening in the nation, let Nick here tell you more, there's :
1) P1 Malaysia Film-Maker's Showcase: Meter
2)Movie: 9; which presents to us with a post-apocalyptic vision of the future of the human-machine civilization. The evil machines have already wiped out all human and are now bent on destroying the planet's remaining hope for the future: a band of numbered rag dolls.
Happy 09.09.09 to everyone and have a nice day =)
